Penguin winners p-p-pick up their prizes!

The two luckywinners of the city centre’s Christmas trail, Penguins: A LEGO® brick trailhave been announced.

Ethan Dustanaged seven, is the winner of the family weekend to LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort and12-year-old Esme Matthews won a penguin feeding experience at Living Coasts.

Both children were delighted with their prizes, and enjoyed finding the 20 LEGO brick penguins hidden in shops and businesses throughout the city centre.  

Steve Hughes said: “It’s been fantastic to see families, friends and school groups enjoying our unique LEGO brick trail again this year. The retailers have really got behind this campaign too, with their Christmas window displays, competitions and special offers.”

The trail isjust one of the many events put on by the Plymouth City Centre Company toattract more visitors and customers for the benefit of city centre businesses.

The Companyruns the city centre Business Improvement District (BID) which provides a widerrange of initiatives and services.

City centrebusiness owners and managers will be voting later this month on whether the BIDshould continue for another five years and are encouraged to vote yes tosupport more than £3m of direct investment over the next five years.
