Shoppers begin to return to city centre.
Shoppers and visitors are returning to Plymouth City Centre following the easing of lockdown restrictions.
The Plymouth City Centre Company is working closely with Plymouth City Council and other partners to make sure the city is safe and clean for the expected increase in customers in the coming weeks and when other shops are allowed to open, possibly from June 1, depending on government advice.
Our number one priority will be the safety of shoppers, visitors and workers.
All city centre businesses will have access to a City Centre BID information pack next week advising them of measures they can take to re-open safely.
Other measures will also be introduced, including social distancing advice and signage for businesses and customers.
Don’t forget many businesses are continuing to operate online and provide deliveries via our new online market place www.shop4plymouth.co.uk If you would like to add your business to Shop4Plyymouth, you can submit your details here: www.shop4plymouth.co.uk/get-in-touch
