Defibrillator Training Course

We are working in partnership with Plymouth City Council who would like to offer you and all staff a free training course in how best to provide CPR ( Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) and use the new lifesaving AED defibrillator equipment which have been installed across the Waterfront and which will be available to the public 24/7.  We have defibrillators in the city centre at Drake Circus and in Plymouth Market but also looking to provide a 24-hour location in the future. Plymouth City Bus service number 21 buses, that go through Royal Parage every 10 mins, are also equipped with defibrillators.

This nationally recognised AED course will be run by The Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS) which is a governing body for lifesaving. The course lasts 4 hours in total.

Each candidate will receive a certificate confirming their knowledge and ability to carry out CPR in conjunction with an AED unit (Defib) when they have shown their ability to an acceptable standard, valid for two years.

The course details are as follows:

Date: Tuesday 21 September 2021
Location:  The Waterfront Pub, The Hoe, Plymouth, PL1 3DQ.
Times:   9am – 13:00pm (1st course) 24 spaces
              1:30pm – 5:30pm (2nd course) 24 spaces

Please note deadline for return of completed enrolment forms15 September 2021. Please complete one form for each member of staff.

Please state which one of the two courses (morning or afternoon) each staff member hopes to attend.
