CITY CENTRE COMPANY HAS ITS SAY ON ARMADA WAY PLANS
The Plymouth City Centre Company has submitted its formal response to the council’s new plans for Armada Way.
In its submission, the Company, which represents the interests of more than 500 city centre businesses, fully endorses the vision to Recapture the scale and grandeur of Armada Way, and applauds the decision to recreate the original Abercrombie vision of a tree-lined boulevard from North Cross to The Hoe.
Company chair Nigel Godefroy says:“ It is just what the city centre and our businesses need as a catalyst for regeneration and will be fundamental in unlocking further investment, which is so desperately needed, given the changing nature of the high street.”
