Help us tackle retail crime and anti-social behaviour
We meet regularly with the police, city council, business owners and officers from our Plymouth Against Retail Crime (PARC) initiative to discuss ways of making the city centre safer and more welcoming.
We are seeking more funding to see if we can increase the number of PARC officers on patrol, following recent reports of a rise in anti-social behaviour on the streets.
But we need help from you to make sure that these incidents are reported, so that we have statistics to support our efforts for more funding. The easiest way to report a crime and keep up to date with all the latest crime information is to use the DISC APP provided by PARC.
Steve Hughes, chief executive of the Plymouth City Centre Company, said: “We have seen anti-social behaviour rising again in the last few weeks and know this is a concern to our businesses. The best way to deal with this is to report incidents to the police immediately and this can be done quickly and easily via our DISC App.”
All crimes reported via the APP are automatically forwarded to the police and logged.
